History
1958 - Mar Sycamore Springs Golf Course, Inc. incorporated as Ohio corporation.
1958 - Apr 80 acres of land for 9-hole golf course leased from Arlington Land Corp. The Construction of the golf course begins.
1958 - Aug Golf Course opens for public play.
1961 - Dec Architectural plans approved for construction of new Clubhouse.
1962 - Jul Golf Course land was purchased from Arlington Land Corporation.
1962 - Nov Bid accepted from Snyder Lumber in Carey, Ohio for new Clubhouse.
1964 - Feb New clubhouse completed.
1964 - Oct Authorized project to add underground greens watering system and storage room addition to Clubhouse.
1965 - Aug Watering System completed.
1967 - May Authorized a second set of tee markers, permitting 18 separate tee locations on the 9-holes.
1971 - Jul New locker room and cart storage addition completed.
1972 - Mar Arlington High School was granted permission to practice and play schedule matches at Sycamores Springs.
1989 - Oct Committee formed to explore the potential expansion of the golf course to 18-holes.
1991 - May Purchase of the first 40 acre parcel to the west of existing golf course completed.
1991 - Oct Purchase of the second 40 acre parcel to the west of the existing golf course completed.
1992 - Mar Construction of golf course expansion on the new property commences.
1994 - Apr Expansion to 18-holes completed and expanded course opened to public play.
1995 - Jul Formal planning begins for new Clubhouse facility.
1997 - Sep Old Clubhouse is razed and construction begins on new facility.
1998 - Apr New clubhouse completed and opened to public.
